Pure Chance started at the dining room table. We love board games. Monopoly. Trivial Pursuit. The classics. But rolling dice can be a pain if you cannot see them clearly, or if you struggle to pick them up. So I built a simple dice roller to make game night easier at home.
One die became two. Two became a mix of dice types. Then I realised: multiple dice would be a huge help to Dungeons & Dragons players too.
From Board Games to Tabletop RPGs
D&D uses a full set of polyhedral dice: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20. Attack rolls, damage rolls, ability checks. You might need 2d6 for a greatsword, 3d8 for a spell, or a single d20 for that critical hit. Physical dice are tactile and fun, but they can be hard to read, easy to lose under the table, or awkward if your hands do not cooperate. Pure Chance lets you add any combination of dice, roll them all at once, and hear the result read out loud. No squinting. No fumbling. Just the number.
Dice for Everyone
d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, d100. Mix and match. Roll once or roll again. All in your browser, no signup, no tracking.
Accessible and Private
Pure Chance follows the same principles as the rest of Pure Contrast Tools. High contrast themes so you can see the numbers. Optional audio so you can hear them. Screen reader support. Keyboard friendly. No cookies. No ad trackers. The randomness runs entirely in your browser. We never see your rolls. We never store them. You get fair dice. We get nothing from you.
Whether you are moving your token in Monopoly, answering a question in Trivial Pursuit, or rolling for initiative in your weekly D&D session, Pure Chance is there. No signup. No account. Just dice.
